Family Work Day

We spent a day helping Mom and Dad

paint a retaining wall . This is just the little wall

Cliff came up a few days to give Dad a helping hand. Dad worked really hard on his walkway to their cabin.

White Water River Rafting

We decided on our last day up in North Carolina

we would all go River Rafting on the Nantahala River.

This was a first time for everyone except Cliff and I.

Cliff brought along a disposable camera so during the calm

part of our ride our guide took our picture.Thanks Megan for taking this picture (Colton's funny).

Our guide sitting in the far back left (Gigi) was

really neat and we felt pretty safe with her on board.

We will have lots fun memories of this trip together.

My Birthday Cake

Brad and Kelly had this really neat cake made

for me for my birthday. Isn't it cool and it tasted great too!

It was chocolate and yellow cake.Thanks I loved my cake!

I had a great birthday( all except for turning 47!)

I was in North Carolina visiting my parents last week .

We went out to dinner the nightbefore my birthday and the

day of my birthday we went white water river rafting.

Monday night Cliff and the kids gave me a party/BBQ.

Gail had just printed off an email from Jordan (Elder Berge)

He gets to email once a week. He is studying hard

for when he leaves the MTC for New Zealand in September.

Yesterday we had fun helping Gail put together

a care package to send him.

This is at a place called Sliding Rock where u hike up

and slide down a water fall rock into the freezing river.

It was about 50 degrees!

The kids swam in the falls and had a blast.
